Turns out The NCAA isn’t the only aviation agency being shady right now. The Chairman, Senate Committee on Aviation, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, yesterday disclosed that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) purchased two armoured vehicles for the office of its Managing Director. Speaking on the sidelines of the investigation into the purchase of armoured vehicles by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for Aviation Minister Stella Oduah, Sen. Uzodinma said that FAAN Managing Director, Mr. George Uriesi, told the committee on oath that his agency purchased 202 operational cars and two bullet-proofs cars for the office of the managing director, including two Lexus Limousine cars at N60 million each and two Prado jeeps. The committee however ordered the managing director to appear before it on Nov. 4, with comprehensive details of the transaction and the documents for all the purchases. Also Aviation Minister has been summoned in line with the ongoing investigative hearing, the House of Representatives Committee on Aviation yesterday re-issued its summon on Stella Oduah to appear before it today, October 31st.Where do they get all the money they spend from?
