= Ahead of the governorship election scheduled for tomorrow in Anambra State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that it would deploy six National Commissioners and 15 Resident Electoral Commissioners to supervise the governorship election in the state, in which 23 political parties will be fielding candidates.

= Suspected members of Boko Haram sect have carried out a series of night attacks in Borno State causing havoc and killing 26 people in the process.

= The minister of State for Finance, Dr. YERIMA NGAMA, has disclosed that the Federal, States and Local Governments shared the sum N568.41 billion from the Federation Account for the month of October.

= The Senate has rescinded its resolution that the Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, should appear and brief the Senate at plenary about recurring air crashes in the country.

= A Canadian woman has been convicted of stalking US actor Alec Baldwin and sentenced to six months in jail. 41 year old actress Genevieve Sabourin was found guilty of stalking, attempted aggravated harassment and attempted contempt of court.
