MY WEEKEND;WE STILL MAKE MUSIC IN NIGERIA

Hello,hope you all had a fantastic weekend? Mine was quiet but nonetheless fun because I finally took time to listen to Burna Boy's LIFE album and Jesse Jags THY NATION COME as well. Before I listened a lot of people told me that I would be disappointed especially with Burna's album. As I listened to the first track,I suddenly got this modern day afrobeat feel and it felt good like really good. A lot of people would say bigups to Burna Boy but for me big big shoutout to his producer Leriq - that dude put in work especially in a music environment where a lot of producers are lazy and I am beyond impressed with what he did on that album. Thy nation come by Jesse was more than superb. Production and lyrics of each song were onpoint. After listening to both amazing albums,I now have renewed faith that we still make music in Nigeria and of course discovered my two favourite songs: Burna boy's Yawa Dey and Jesse Jags'Burning Bush... #RepeatTins lol
