THE STRIKES DON'T STOP...NO NO NO!

There has been ASUU,NUT,NARD,NANS and so on, now there is MWUN. The President of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Mr Anthony Nted, has appealed to the Federal Government to pay the salaries of maritime workers to avert an impending strike by the union. Nted who made the appeal yesterday in Lagos while addressing dock workers, who were protesting non-payment of their eight months salaries, said the money the workers were asking for had been paid by shipping companies to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) yet there was delay in paying salaries to workers. He added that failure by the management of the NPA to honour the agreement reached with the union by the end of October, would lead to withdraw of services by maritime workers nationwide...
