The Kwara state
governor, Abdulfattah Ahmed has dissolved his cabinet comprising commissioners,
special advisers, senior special assistants and special assistants.
Briefing journalists
after the weekly council meeting that lasted barely one hour, the Secretary to
the state government, Isiaka Gold noted that the dissolution was as a result of
the need to review the performance of the government and inject new and fresh
blood.
The governor directed
the commissioners to hand over government documents to their permanent
secretaries and thanked them for their services while appealing to them to
continue contributing their quota to the development of the state in future.
