TRADE UNION CONGRESS OF NIGERIA (TUC) AND THE NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS (NLC) JOIN FORCES AGAINST SENATE


The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have directed their affiliates and workers across the country to be battle-ready against the Senate's removal of National Minimum Wage from the constitution. Already, the two bodies have slated tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday to protest the decentralization of the Minimum Wage, describing the move as obnoxious. The TUC said in a statement signed by its president, Comrade Bobboi Kaigama and the Secretary General, Comrade Musa Lawal, yesterday that mobilization for the protest is in top gear, while directive had been given to their affiliates to get ready
