Couldn't help but feel bad after watching this today (yes i didn't laugh). This video is just one of the many cases of police extortion that people experience everyday in this country.A lot of people would say he deserves to be punished,well maybe. But what about DPO's that send these men out with a target of hundreds of thousands of naira daily with threats of them losing their job if they fail to co-operate? Some even go as far as selling their guns and bullets. Are we even treating the men in the police force as they should with owed salaries and an inefficient welfare structure?How do they survive if they don't resort to illegal means of livelihood?
