He was born on the 29th of August 1958 and would have been 55 years old today. I won't forget how each and every member of my family cried on the 25th of June 2009 when CNN confirmed his passing. To me, it was more than a musician or a "legend" as he is known as now passing on but a man who without knowing helped shaped and inspire generations through his timeless music. I remember today how in primary school alot of people claimed he was their uncle,(LOL) or how during school shows,every boy was dressed as Micheal Jackson(the above-the -ankle black pants,white socks,shimmering jacket and of course your outfit wasn't complete without the gloves). I remember how listening to his songs had the ability to change my mood and make me feel like the world is indeed beautiful. When I first heard "Rock With You" I fell in love instantly! Though I was very young, I knew I always wanted to listen and feel that way every single day and today just as I felt from that point, I am saying happy birthday to a man who will forever live on in our hearts. Happy birthday Michael, we love you.......
