ELECTRICITY WORKERS & FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN FACE-OFF

Workers who were laid off by the federal government still haven't been paid their gratuity and pensions which amounts to over 300 billion naira!(wowzers!). An agreement was reached in 2012 after the Power Holding Company was unbundled into 17 successor companies to pave the way for privitization. Now the Secretay-General of the National Union Of Electricity Employees,Mr Joe Ajaero said the union is now demanding an additional one year payment for the time lost between when the agreement was reached and now. LOL!!! They haven't paid you what you are owed and you are demanding extra pay for the delay in this country? You go tey!
